Lacey Sasso
Lacey Sasso (she/her) is a passionate educator, performer and choreographer. Lacey is NGCP® certified in the Basic-Professional levels of Giordano Jazz Technique, Level 1 of Luigi Jazz Technique, Progressing Ballet Technique®, Tap Roots® and Alixa Flexibility Modules 1 & 2. She has completed the Dance for PD® Introductory Dance Teacher Training Course, Martha Graham School Intensive Teacher Workshop (NYC), and Kaelyn Gray’s Tap Basics with a Twist Workshop. She is a master and guest teacher throughout New England and has taught internationally in South America, Europe and the United Kingdom. Lacey holds a B.F.A in Dance Performance and a minor in Psychology from Missouri State University and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy from William James College. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Sasso & Company, a company member with DrumatiX and a freelance contemporary performer. Lacey joined the cast of City Ballet of Boston’s Urban Nutcracker as a tap lead, soloist, and ensemble member in 2024. Lacey spent six seasons with Undertoe Dance Project (NYC) as the Jazz Captain and Resident Jazz Teaching Artist. She has performed and choreographed for Six One Seven Dance Collective (Boston) and was a founding member of Project31’s professional company. She has served on the faculty at Boston University, Urbanity Dance, and the Royal Academy of Dance (London). She is currently on faculty at South Shore Ballet Theatre and Boston Dance Studios. Lacey is excited to join the faculty at Jamie Campbell’s Dance Company this fall!
